Champions of Justice Award

Social Justice Collaborative is honored to have received the Champion of Justice Award from OneJustice, recognizing our commitment to transforming California's legal aid system and promoting access to justice throughout the state.

The award celebrates organizations and individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to closing the justice gap in California. SJC was recognized for its innovative model of providing comprehensive, holistic legal services to immigrant communities at little to no cost.

Since 2012, SJC has provided legal representation to thousands of immigrant families facing deportation, winning hundreds of asylum cases and setting important legal precedents through appellate litigation before the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
